I shot a bald eagle

I like birds.  I love to watch birds and listen to them sing when they come back in full force in the spring.  Thursday's carpool called and said they couldn't take Drew to school.  As I was driving home wishing I could've slept in a little longer I quickly woke up when I realized what this big bird was in the tree.  It was a Bald Eagle and the first one I'd ever seen in real life AKA not on TV.  I raced home got my camera and luckily it was still there until I drove it off acting like the
"papa, paparazzi."

You mean you don't have your camera on your 24/7? Eagles in Enoch--wow! Thanks for the pics.

That's crazy. Are there a lot in Utah?

Michelle- Hahaha! Nope! I always carry my point and shoot but rarely carry my SLR with me everywhere

Bre- I have no idea! I don't think there's a lot, because it's not one of Utah's top 50 birds but I guess people do see them occasionally. Neat huh?

Noelle-I found this on someone's facebook page-anyway-we used to see TONS of Eagles around Enoch but a lot of the their nesting trees are gone-with homes in their place. I am loving your photographs-you make pictures look like fun! I hope all is well with you and Curtis! And if you are wondering-yes, this is his cousin Shellbi!
