"Let the wild rumpus start!"

Lately I've been staying up till Kurt gets home, not because I'm a good wife and waiting up for him, but because I have a million things I want to do and I want to do them all! One project I have finished is sewing Brody's costume. He's going to be Max from Where The Wild Things Are. I have to give myself the biggest pat on the back because his costume has turned out how I had pictured it in my head. Since sewing Brody's costume I've been on a sewing frenzy and have been altering any of our clothes that need it. Drew had a pair of leggings that were a couple sizes too big and I cut and sewed them to make it how it's supposed to fit.

More of my projects when I get done with them!

This is away too cool, and I feel guilty because . . . James has been asking me to make one for him for awhile . . . It will be addition to his costume collection. You are such a great mom, Noel! Body looks so happy!

Awesome Costume. Can't sew my self. Wish I did then I could make wonderful things like you. Great Job.

Polly, no I didn't follow a pattern. That's why there aren't any real close up pictures or else you would see all the flaws. Drew's going to be Strawberry Shortcake. So now I have to start on her costume. But did you know that there is a modern day SS? And that's the one she wants to be.

That is SO great Noelle! What a talented girl you are! So I read that you didn't follow a pattern...how did you do it? Wish I lived closer to you so we could have sewing parties together...I'm loving sewing these days too, only I have to save all my big projects for trips to my mom's house so I can use her sewing machine - the rest of the time I just have to hand sew. I believe it's about time to invest in a sewing machine! :)
